If not, you’re missing out on reading the HVAC industry’s monthly magazine with, by far, the most managment information. In fact, the magazine is devoted exclusively to timely and leading edge management information. Just go to www.hvacrbusiness.com and subscribe. And, it’s free! The March, 2009 issue of the magazine included the first part of a two part series I wrote on HVAC Light Commercial Service Agreements. The June issue will include the second and last part of the series. You can also go to Free Articles on this website and pull up all of the articles of mine that have been published in the magazine up through December, 2008.
Are you a member of Service Roundtable? It’s the largest Alliance ever in the HVAC industry. And, there is a reason! Frankly, it’s a steal and a no-brainer decision to join. A web based program, the monthly investment is only $50! You don’t even sign a contract so if you later determine you’re not getting value you just quit although I can not imagine why anyone would do so. You receive tons of information, often something every day. And, the Archives are loaded with marketing, sales, processes and tons of information — all yours to pull up and use. You can even communicate on line by simply posting or responding to a post. Just go to www.serviceroundtable.com.
After several delays, we’re closing in on finalizing the HVAC Spells Wealth audio book. My target date for release is July 15. We are in the process of final editing and, cover design preparing it for production. We have on file the names and email addresses of all interested people who have requested to be notified upon its release and you can be assured we’ll do so. If you wish to add your name to the list just go to ronlsmith2@bellsouth.net and let me know. Thanks,
Regarding the economy, in the past several months my work with contractor consulting clients and distributor or association group presentations has taken me to Flint, Mi; Akron, OH; Phoenix, AZ; Greensboro, NC; Portland, OR; Benecia, CA; Seattle, WA; Richmond, VA; Ft. Myers, FL; Mobile, AL; Salt Lake City, UH; Cincinnati, OH and Safford, AZ. Although business is slower than normal it’s much different around the country with some areas suffering much more than others. However, I’m happy to report that I see some positive things now happening in the economy. Keep doing the correct things and stay positive. This economic downturn will end as they always do. The companies that do the right things will not only survive, they will gain market share in their community and the area they serve. More on this in my next blog. Ron
